Zero to One Thousand is a course that claims to help a student make $1,000 in a week. Priced at $397, you can purchase and access it via the Teachable platform. The course is on the dropshipping niche as the YouTube star achieved his success with it. Although it is possible to make $1,000 a week, an experienced dropshipper like myself can tell you that not all this $1,000 is profit. He doesn’t talk about the costs you will encounter. Your profit will only be a percentage of $1,000. According to Tanner, he will regularly update and include more videos onto the platform. He claims that what he shares is his blueprint to success, and by following it, you should be able to see the same progress. I doubt this is true unless your situation is exactly the same as Tanner. What I mean is that if you are in the same niche, same products, same area, etc. Not every niche works the same and the type of popular products definitely also depend on your location and other demographics.
Who is Tanner Planes?
Tanner Planes is only 16 years old when he became famous on YouTube, where he posts dropshipping content. Some people are claiming that he’s way too young, but looking at his lifestyle now, I’m not quick to judge as I am nowhere near there myself. Tanner has made his name by growing his business, and he is one of the more successful and influencer online entrepreneurs out there.

Tanner doesn’t specify who this course is suitable for, but it seems perfect for whoever is interested in growing a YouTube channel for commissions. Social media influencers or anyone with social media platforms can also benefit from this course as he talks about ways you can use social media to earn a living.

In this next section, Tanner talks about researching Golden or winning products to achieve the $1,000 goal. He recommends using AliExpress to import products and write catchy descriptions to help them sell. Tanner then continues to talk about how you can build an attractive store that will get customers via SEO optimization. You also get a step-by-step tutorial in this section.

Tanner presents four popular apps to use that will go perfectly with your Shopify store. These apps include Privy, Oberlo, Sales Pop, and Consistent cart. All of these will help your business in many ways, but there is nothing extraordinary about this section. These apps are well-known, and almost everyone uses them, so it is not something unusual. Even a simple internet search can give you these answers.

Bonuses
As mentioned before, Tanner regularly gives updates by putting out more videos as exclusive bonuses so you can learn new things weekly. As good as this sounds, none of these videos share anything special other than what you can already find on the internet. Some of the videos currently included are Facebook retargeting, troubleshooting Oberlo errors, and research webinars. You will also get access to the exclusive Facebook group, but I don’t see any members or activity other than a message from Tanner.
Zero to One Thousand Final Verdict
The thing that bugs me about Tanner Planes is the way he uses to lure people in by flaunting his luxuries on his social media. He also uses this same marketing skill by claiming to help people make $1,000 in a week with his course. I know what he claims is possible, but it certainly isn’t achievable overnight. He also doesn’t clarify that not all of this $1,000 is profits as the costs will eventually leave you only a small cut. Instead, Tanner sounds like he’s promoting some get-rich-quick scheme, but I don’t think that was his initial intention.
I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.
