Income Incubator Review

Income Incubator Review

Today we will be looking at “The Income Incubator,” a Shopify dropshipping course by “serial entrepreneur” Jeet Banerjee. You might have come across an advertisement for it on Instagram, which is probably how you landed here. Let us find out if the course is worth its money and if it will enable you to live the lavish lifestyle shown by its creator on Instagram.

What is The Income Incubator?

The Income Incubator is a relatively new drop-shipping course launched by self-proclaimed “serial entrepreneur” Jeet Banerjee. It comes with a price tag of $297, a $700 reduction if you believe Jeet’s sales page, but from what I have seen, there was no point in time where the course was selling for $997. Probably just a sales trick by Jeet to create a sense of urgency in the buyer.

On its sales page, Jeet claims that he helped people made $5 million in 5 months. If you know anything about business, that claim will probably make you double-take… and considering that most of the screenshots provided seemed to be doctored with, I am skeptical if Jeet has made even close to that much money on Shopify. Especially with a brand-new store, this task seems almost entirely impossible. And honestly, if you are making that kind of money on Shopify, why bother putting together and selling a $297 dropshipping course?

Who is Jeet Banerjee?

Jeet Banerjee is another online entrepreneur and also a TedX speaker, as he mentions in his Instagram bio. On Instagram, he sports just above 50,000 followers, not an unimpressive number. His other social media, however, seems to lack this kind of fanbase. But that is okay, and you do not have to be successful everywhere.

On his personal Instagram, he flaunts the typical “serial entrepreneur” lifestyle. Expensive clothes, cars, and trips on motorboats. How much of this is authentic is challenging to know, considering that nowadays, people will do anything to maintain a particular image of themselves online? He also calls himself a Mentor and advocates the typical “hustle hard” lifestyle.

What is interesting that he also has an Instagram page for The Income Incubate. This one actually has over a quarter of a million followers but considering that few of his pictures get above 1,000 likes, I am also ab it skeptical as to the authenticity of his Instagram following. Anyways, on this page, he sticks to posting motivational quotes and the like.

Who is The Income Incubator For?

This course is absolutely aimed at beginners, as you can already tell by the names of the modules which deal with a lot of basic things that you will already know if you have been active on Shopify (or e-commerce in general) before. It claims to teach you how to build a profitable dropshipping business. Jeet also advocates it as a “mentoring” course to help people turn around their unsuccessful attempts at dropshipping.

What is included in The Income Incubator?

As mentioned, the course is divided into ten modules. They are as follows:

  • Intro to Dropshipping
  • Jeet’s Dropshipping Story
  • Crucial mistakes to avoid
  • Product research and winning products
  • How to build a Shopify store
  • Recommended Apps
  • Facebook Ads
  • Email Marketing
  • Influencer Ads
  • Store Automation

On top of that, it includes two bonuses about dropshipping on Amazon and brand building.

In the first two modules, Jeet gives you an introduction to the world of dropshipping. The info here is fundamental, but if you are truly starting from scratch, then it is probably still valuable for you. Jeet also talks about his personal story and shares some learnings from his experiences with dropshipping on Shopify.

The third module goes over common mistakes made by people attempting to get rich quick through dropshipping. It includes such topics as choosing the wrong products, pricing it incorrectly, and targeting the wrong audience with your ads.

In module 4, Jeet aims to teach you all about finding the perfect “winning” product. This kind of module is something you should expect to find in every single drop shipping course out there, as it is vital for your success in the industry. The knowledge shared by Jeet is nothing special and can be found for free on YouTube and other platforms, but again, if you are new to the business, it can be quite helpful to you.

The next two modules deal with setting up your Shopify store. If you have ever used the platform, you will know that the whole process is incredibly intuitive, and there is not much need for a tutorial at any point. Jeet also recommends some apps to install, which is undoubtedly helpful, especially for the beginners out there.

In the Facebook Ads module, Jeet gives an introduction to the Facebook Business Manager and Ad Centre. He mentions different strategies you can try and briefly goes over the importance of the right ad texts. As someone that knows a bit about advertising on Facebook, none of the information here was useful to me, and in fact, most of it felt quite dated and basic. Honestly, there are better tutorials available on YouTube. Considering its importance, I wish Jeet had invested some more time into this module.

The eighth module is again relatively short and deals with setting up your email marketing campaigns. Jeet touches on automated email sequences and essential things such as cart abandonment emails. Still, good to know for beginners, but nothing too out of the ordinary here either.

In the penultimate module, Jeet talks about the impact influencer advertising can have on your sales. While true, it is no secret that influencer marketing is an essential step to having a successful store. The info given here is surface-level at best, and I wish Jeet had included some more strategies on how to choose the right influencer and maybe some tactics he uses to approach them.

The last module deals go over what is needed to automate your store. Jeet talks about virtual assistants and order fulfillment modules, things that are necessary as you are scaling your store. He also makes some mentions of the importance of building a loyal audience.

The Income Incubator Final Verdict

While the information in this course is undoubtedly useful for absolute beginners, I am not sure if it is worth the almost 300 bucks Jeet asks for. Many of the modules contain essential information, and he skims over a lot of topics that could have used a more detailed look. Some of the modules are also only too short of including all the necessary information you should have.

If we believe Jeet is as successful as he makes himself out to be, we should surely be able to expect more from a course like this.

Income Incubator Alternative

I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get rich quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust in these courses.

Now, I still recommend a course if your either beginner or intermediate at dropshipping because it can save you a lot of money by optimizing ads and saving you lots of time. My personal favorite and favorite among many others is a course called eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett. Now, the reason why I love this course because it’s one of the most affordable dropshipping courses out there and it has literally over 150+ videos. Franklin’s been doing dropshipping for many many years even before it was made famous by a lot of the gurus.

Make sure you read my eCom Elites Review to see how much information Franklin packed in this course and offers it at such a low price.
