Why Listen To My Opinion? What Makes Me An Expert

Hey I’m Joshua. I have been full time entrepreneur since 2019. When I first started dropshipping, I tried MANY different dropshipping courses.

Many of them had similar information to what you can find on youtube. I ended up wasting not just my time but, my money. (Not just course cost but, ad spend.)

Since then, it has been my mission to review these courses to ensure that this doesn’t happen to you. I have devoted over 400+ hours thoroughly researching various ecommerce courses!

What is eCommerce Paradise Academy?

The eCommerce Paradise Academy aims to be an all-you-can-eat buffet of everything related to the eCommerce industry. For $997 (US only), you get 27 modules that consists of 218 videos. The course is priced at $997 but varies from country to country due to tax regulations. For example, if you’re from the UK, you will have to pay a 20% VAT fee, amounting the course up to $1,196. Yikes. However, you can be assured that the video lessons will be in HD and with good sound quality as its hosted on the Teachables platform. Teachables also ensure that the modules are segmented well and easy to navigate.

Personal Experience with the eCommerce Paradise Academy

Although you get 27 modules with the eCommerce Paradise Academy, it’s still almost $1,000! That’s such a big amount. If you’re a beginner, you definitely won’t have this much money in your budget. This amount is also excluding all the other costs that you’ll need to include at the start of your store.

Verdict

Now, lets get to my thoughts on the entire course. Firstly, I found some difficulty in getting a solid background on Trevor’s achievements. I’m quite sceptical about his 1,000 followers on YouTube especially if he claims he has over 10 years of experience in the business. I mean for sure by now he would have at least 5,000 followers and above. I’m not sure about you, but I like to know about my teachers before undertaking a course, especially one with such a premium price. Next, we get to the price. For $997 you get 27 modules about high-ticket dropshipping. Some of you may think its worth it, but going through the contents of the course, I don’t think I will be able to part with my $997. That’s close to a whopping $1,000! Although he covers a lot of grounds in the course, I feel that he is lacking in depth information in each topic. This means that you would probably have to spend more to supplement this already expensive course. Although access to the Mastermind group is enticing but it still doesn’t warrant the $997 price point. Let’s not forget the absence of a refund policy or a trial period for such an expensive product. You have to be 100% sure that the course is suitable for you otherwise you’re out of luck.

Additionally, looking through the modules in the course, and also Trevor’s preference for high-ticket products, I’m not so sure whether beginners would be suitable. Although there is one module for beginners that is ‘Shopify for beginners’, I’m not so sure if beginners are able to dive right into the other modules. It would probably require some basic knowledge before undertaking the course.

In conclusion, I think there are better courses out there that will give you even better and more extensive information and with a much better price point. Most of the information provided also can be gathered for free via a simple websearch. Therefore, I’d say if you have $1,000 lying around, by all means. But if you’re on a budget like most newbie dropshippers are, there are better courses out there.

I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.

I have reviewed over 50+ dropshipping and eCommerce courses on my blog and by far the best course I recommend for any beginner or intermediate dropshipper is eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett. Now, the reason why I love this course is that it’s one of the most affordable dropshipping courses out there and it has literally over 150+ videos. Franklin’s been doing dropshipping for many many years even before it was made famous by a lot of the gurus.

Now if you are still wondering whether you should try it out or not, you should read my eCom Elites Review to make an informed decision on whether or not you should get it or not.
