What is the eCom Empire Academy?

eCom Empire Academy is an eCommerce course consisting of seven modules covering essential aspects of the dropshipping business. What makes this course special is that course creator Peter focuses on using ClickFunnels to drive traffic. Usually, regular dropshipping courses discuss steps like Facebook or Google marketing. These are also included briefly in the class, but Peter does not go in-depth. So, if you are looking for information on traditional marketing techniques, then this course is not for you.

Who is Peter Pru?

Everything most people know about Peter Pru is what he chooses to share on his social media, especially his YouTube channel. Here is where he boasts his successful $2,300,000 dropshipping business and also claims to be an electronic commerce expert. His expertise includes building sales funnels. Peter regularly boasts about his achievements, which is how I think he gets people to sign up for his courses. Again, none of his entrepreneurial successes can be validated, so it is hard to say whether he has real experience in the business.

eCommerce Empire Academy is for anyone who wants to build a dropshipping business and use ClickFunnels as their primary marketing strategy.

What is included in the eCommerce Empire Academy?

Module 1

Peter begins this dropshipping course with your usual ‘you need to have the right mindset’ gibberish. Yes, you need to have a proper mindset before going into a dropshipping business, but whoever is willing to pay an astounding $1k for a dropshipping course should already be in the right mindset. Thankfully, this module was a short one, although I did not think it should have been included at all. Instead, an overview of the whole module would have sufficed.

Module 2

Module 2 is all about finding your niche and the most popular products to sell. Although this is a vital part of the business, Peter does not share too much information. What you will learn, however, is how to find a winning niche, and how to find products and to come up with offers to help them sell. You will learn to find trending products and learn some pricing strategies.

Module 3

In module 3, you will learn about something pretty different, which is to set up ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels is an excellent platform for you to design high functioning funnels that can help you get high-quality leads. Peter swears by using ClickFunnels, which is not a conventional method for most dropshippers. Peter will share some optimized templates, keep in mind these have already been used by past students. Depending on what you prefer, I would suggest building your business the traditional way first, before you move on to using ClickFunnels. Nonetheless, this is a personal preference.

Module 4

This next module discusses email marketing, which is a potent tool to build a bond with your customers and boost sales. However, this module talks about using email marketing with Clickfunnels, and to do this, and you need to get an additional tool to integrate them. You will learn about configuring email using a marketing sequence. It is basically about keeping tabs on customers and ensuring they come back and purchase from your store. This will mean a positive conversion.

Module 5

Module 5 does not seem complete, but it primarily talks about using influencer marketing through Instagram or YouTube. You will learn how to identify and use influencers by contacting them and negotiating prices.

Module 6

This sixth module on Facebook Ads also lacks a lot of valuable information. This chapter is usually the bulk of your business, as it is an essential marketing technique. However, I strongly feel that Peter does not pay much attention to this as he is more focused on using ClickFunnels to drive traffic.

Module 7

This last module is about scaling your store into the 6 or 7 figure range. Peter also discusses the importance of branding and acquiring more than one income stream. Peter also shares a supplier list.

Extras

Access to a private Facebook support group and weekly Q&A Webinar ran by Peter and his team. You also get funnel templates and several case studies. Peter also shares a sample of what a good store should look like in the end.

eCommerce Empire Academy is perfect if you are searching to use ClickFunnels to promote your online store. However, as an experienced drop shipper, I believe beginners should always start from scratch, meaning traditional marketing techniques.

I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.
