Zak Folman is a relatively new kid on the block in the internet marketing scene. He’s been showing up a lot on my social media, and I’m sure you see him on yours too. Besides this, there is barely any information about him, so we can’t confirm his successes.
Who is eCom Hacks For?
eCom Hacks is suitable for beginners and even dropshippers with experience. For beginners, you will learn to build a Shopify store with Facebook ads as your primary marketing strategy. For experienced dropshippers, the course can give you more ideas for your business. It’s always good to have a lot of knowledge about the business.
What is included in eCom Hacks?
eCom Hacks comes with four modules and some extras as below:
Module 1: Structure
Jared starts off the program by showing you his successful Shopify store. I guess this is some way to show you that he’s legit. Moving on, he discusses finding winning products and the vitality of testing products. Then, you will learn how to set up a Shopify store, and this includes buying a domain, getting a phone number, setting up payment methods, support email, meta descriptions, and shipping criteria. These are essential information, nothing special here.
Module 2: Setting Up Your Store To Convert
This more extensive section consists of 16 videos, which include talking about a theme that costs $5,000,000 called Shoptimize. Shoptimize is a hefty theme costing $167 for a single license, which means you can use it for one store or $597 for a ten license option. He calls it a 5 million dollar theme because it helped his store reach this success, and he teaches you how to set this up. However, this doesn’t mean you will have the same success just by using the theme. The reason this theme is so expensive is that it focuses on conversions. In the rest of the videos, you will learn how to create abandoned cart email sequences, setting up an FAQ page, one-click upsells, including customer reviews, and free shipping bar.
Module 3: Products
Products are essential in dropshipping business, of course, so in this section, Jared talks about what you should look for in a product. You will also learn where you can find these products and all about fulfilling orders.
Module 4: Advertising – Facebook Ads
Facebook ads are the bulk of this course, and although I do agree that it is a great way to get traffic, its not the ONLY method. If you are using Facebook Ads alone, you won’t reach your store’s full potential, and that means minimal profits. This section also consists of some videos presented by Jake Tenenbaum.
Bonus
The extras you get are quite well, such as a master list of suppliers and how to get help from virtual assistants, and 800 numbers, and abandoned cart email templates.
eCom Hacks Final Verdict
The information on eCom Hacks seems quite general, and I was disappointed that Zak doesn’t include other marketing strategies that are equally, if not more effective than Facebook Ads. If you’re interested in using Facebook Ads for your business, then this course is for you.
I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.
