eCom Jumpstart is a dropshipping course by 18-year old successful drop shipper Cameron Wallace. Most people are here probably because you have heard of this ‘whacky’ young entrepreneur make sense on his YouTube channel. He sounds like he knows what he’s talking about, and for the low price, the course is pretty good.

What is eCom Jumpstart?

eCom Jumpstart is a brief course that can help newbies build a Shopify store and use fundamental free and paid ad tactics to get traffic. Cameron explains the course very well; however, it lacks more content. Here are the packages available:

Who is Cameron Wallace?

Cameron Wallace is a pretty impressive 18-year old who is a Shopify expert. Most 18-year-olds aren’t interested in starting their businesses. Hence, he caught my attention. His YouTube has around 6,500 subscribers and growing, and he does seem like he knows what he’s talking about. Through his videos, I can see his passion in the business, which is why this course intrigued me. However, I do agree with some people saying that some of his videos are unprofessional in the way he presents it. Nevertheless, he is just a teenager running a business, and I am already impressed.

Who is eCom Jumpstart For?

From the way Cameron Wallace speaks and explains things, I would say younger aspiring business owners would relate to his courses. If you are a teenager who wants to be different and start your own business and achieve the same success as Cameron, the course is for you.

What is included in eCom Jumpstart?

eCom Jumpstart has more than 50 videos with content, but each is short and easy to consume. You also get a few bonuses at the end of the program.

Introduction

This introduction is standard practice, and you can skip past it as its mostly just course creator Cameron introducing himself. He does tell you how to access the Facebook group and live calls, but besides that, it is just some nonsense talk about having the right mindset, etc.

Dropshipping In A Nutshell

This second section could have been in the introduction, in my opinion. Cameron introduces the dropshipping business model. I guess this part would benefit extreme newbies, but then again, if you had no basic idea about dropshipping, I doubt you would pay to sign up for such an expensive course.

Choosing A Niche Or General Store

Cameron makes you think here by helping you understand the difference between a niche and a general store. You can use these fundamentals to decide for yourself. Then, he moves on to talk about product quality and quantity. He ends with a short 30-second video on how you can choose your dream store.

Influencer Marketing

Cameron starts this off by introducing Instagram. I am sure everyone knows what Instagram is by now and how powerful it is for the dropshipping business. However, some newbies might not know this. Cameron then goes on to introduce Influencer Marketing and demonstrates how it works with some case studies. Here, he shares some tips on how you can approach them to get a reply. He also shares negotiation tactics, so you will not end up blowing your marketing budget.

Shopify

I find this course to be a little messy as most courses would have this as the first section. I mean, you can’t talk about getting traffic if you do not even have a store up and running yet. Anyways, Cameron seems really excited about this topic, probably because he excels in this field, which means he can possibly be a good teacher for beginners. He brings you through setting up your Shopify store, then goes on to help you install the Facebook pixel and creating your brand’s logo. Then, Cameron moves to the backend stuff, where he stresses how important it is to have a solid backend. After that, there is a brief demo on adding products to your store, and strategies to stand out in the game. Cameron also shows you his store, which I doubt is his actual store.

Free Target Marketing

Most beginners will start getting traffic with free target marketing due to low budgets. This section is a low-down on free traffic, which is nothing new.

Facebook Marketing

Cameron helps you through Facebook Ad training with a step-by-step guide. Then, you will also learn to identify customers, test products, retargeting, and much more.

Automating Business

This section talks about hiring virtual assistants to outsource some work so you can focus on expanding your business.

eCom Jumpstart Final Verdict

The course material for eCom Jumpstart is sufficient for its low price point. Although I wish there were more, Cameron does cover the fundamentals. Beginners can use this course to build a Shopify store and learn some basic free and paid strategies to get traffic. However, I wish it was more comprehensive.

I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.
