What is Dropshipping Titans?
Dropshipping Titans is an eBay dropshipping course that aims to help you start a dropshipping business and earn big bucks. According to the sales page, I can tell that Paul uses the dream of escaping the 9-5 rat race and becoming your boss to entice people into subscribing to his course.
He also claims to make $10,000 a month on the video, although the sales page claims it is $15,000. I’m not sure if there was a glitch, but these numbers don’t add up.
Intrigued by the hopes of earning big bucks, I decided to sign up and see for myself! If a $247 course can help me make up to $15,000 a month, then I need it too! You can also pay it in installments of 3 for $99 each time.
Who is Paul J Lipsky?
Paul J Lipsky’s story isn’t your usual rags to riches story. He was initially a corporate attorney, but he wanted to escape the corporate world and become his boss. He regularly used his lunch breaks to start his business, and when it began making good money, he quit his job and made it a full-time venture! In just two years, he successfully made $2.5million in two years! Paul made his success using eBay and Amazon dropship, and he now shares his strategies and secrets on his YouTube channel. His YouTube channel is impressive, with 30,000 subscribers learning about dropshipping and scaling. This Dropshipping Titans course is one of his many courses, including his free eBay and Amazon dropshipping mini-courses or paid programs.
Who is Dropshipping Titans For?
Dropshipping Titans are for anyone who wants to have a business without the hassle of owning a physical store. It is for anyone who wants to be their boss or escape corporate life. Like Paul Lipsky himself, you can also start the business part-time if you’re a student or just use your lunch break as he did. However, in Module 4, Paul teaches you how to set up an eBay US store, so this course wouldn’t be suitable as eBay stores vary from country to country. This course is also more suitable for anyone who is willing to pay almost $300 for a dropshipping course. Looking back to myself as a beginner drop shipper, I didn’t have the budget for this type of expensive course.
What is included in Dropshipping Titans?
The Dropshipping Titans course comes in 18 modules plus two free modules. These modules consist of 75 videos, including tutorials and examples. Here, we take a look at what each module has to offer:
Module 1
The first module is a general introduction video and a little shameless boasting by Paul Lipsky himself. He shows off how he’s made $150,000 in two years and how you can achieve the same result by following this course.
Module 2
Four videos give a brief overview of dropshipping.
Module 3
Here, Paul shares some basic information on PayPal, including why you need it for your business. I found this section a little unnecessary, and also he doesn’t talk about setting up PayPal in other countries as the requirements are different.
Module 4
Module 4 teaches you how to set up an eBay store, but it seems like it’s catered more towards people from the US. We all know eBay US and eBay from other countries are different, so if you’re not from the US, this course should not be for you.
Module 5 – 15
These modules consist of the basics of eBay dropshipping and include setting up a store, researching high-selling products, choosing a layout and creating a list, and many more. I’d say all this information is really basic and if you’re an advanced dropshipper, you won’t need this course. Also, these videos aren’t as easy to understand as his regular YouTube videos as I feel he overcomplicates several points. Throughout all this, there is no mention of his strategies for making $10,000 a month, and all you get are the basic information you can find online for free.
Module 20
Finally, after 19 basic modules, Module 20 brings us something different, but unfortunately, this is only a 3-minute long video. Paul shares about researching products and choosing the right products to sell. However, I wish this module, of all the other modules, to have a longer and better explanation because this is what can make or break your business. He also doesn’t talk about supplier research or product listing, which are also equally as important. From this module, you can also tell that the course is only meant for his US audience and not suitable for international audiences as some things may not apply.
Final Thoughts
I approached Dropshipping Titans with big expectations as I’m quite familiar with Paul J Lipsky’s YouTube channel. I, too, have turned to his channel for advice when I’m stuck in my own business to get some ideas. I ventured into this course with the same hope as I’m sure many of you have when signing up for this course – to get his secret on making $10,000 a month! I’ve been in the same business, and although I’ve made great successes, I’m still not at the $10,000 a month mark. There is just no mention of this even though Paul has been preaching this on his sales page and even in Module 1. I am disappointed that all the information was basic, and I will not pay even $50 for things I can get online for free.
Another thing that irks me is that he doesn’t have any disclaimers saying that this course wouldn’t be suitable for international markets. Imagine people signing up only to find out they can’t use the information. I’m not sure if he’s doing this on purpose to get more people to sign up. His sales pitch also raises a few eyebrows as he keeps preaching his earnings when he doesn’t intend to share any of his secrets or strategies.
I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.
I have reviewed over 50+ dropshipping and eCommerce courses on my blog and by far the best course I recommend for any beginner or intermediate dropshipper is eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett. Now, the reason why I love this course is that it’s one of the most affordable dropshipping courses out there and it has literally over 150+ videos. Franklin’s been doing dropshipping for many many years even before it was made famous by a lot of the gurus.
