Dropshipping DownUnder 2.0 Review: Grant & Klint Parker Course

I take on drop shipping courses and spend money on them so that you don’t have to.

Dropshipping Down Under 2.0 is one of those programs that left me feeling underwhelmed at the end of the course. It costs $2997 with a confident money-back guarantee. But that is a lot of money.

To be sure whether you want to invest so much in courses like Dropshipping Down Under 2.0, you need to keep reading.

I reviewed over 50+ courses & found the #1 dropshipping course.
(Best part is that it’s super affordable with ton of student results!)

Why Listen To My Opinion? What Makes Me An Expert

Hey I’m Joshua. I have been full time entrepreneur since 2019. When I first started dropshipping, I tried MANY different dropshipping courses.

Many of them had similar information to what you can find on youtube. I ended up wasting not just my time but, my money. (Not just course cost but, ad spend.)

Since then, it has been my mission to review these courses to ensure that this doesn’t happen to you. I have devoted over 400+ hours thoroughly researching various ecommerce courses!

Grant and Klint Parker: Their Success With Dropshipping

Dropship Down Under Authors Klint Parker And Grant Parker

Grant and Klint Parker are names all dropshippers become familiar with. Hailing from Australia, they have a combined business experience of over 20 years.

As teenagers, they started their entrepreneurial journey by running a business painting door numbers for neighbors. Over time, they fished about even more businesses to find their calling.

Their pivotal moment came in October 2014 when they discovered the potential of dropshipping. They too were intrigued by the concept, just as you and I.

So,  they decided to dive into the world of online business. They started their first dropshipping store and worked relentlessly to make it successful. Within a year, their hard work paid off and they were able to leave their 9-5 jobs behind.

Grant and Klint’s success in dropshipping led them to create the Dropship Downunder course. As experienced dropshippers themselves, they designed the course with a specific focus on the Australian market.

However, despite being based in Australia, Klint now resides in Thailand, while Grant continues to operate from the Central Coast, New South Wales.

Dropshipping Down Under 2.0 Review 2023

Dropship Downunder 2.0 is an upgraded version of the 1.0 course, This course has been tailored for Australians looking to build profitable e-Commerce stores.

What makes it different from other courses is that the course focuses on high-ticket dropshipping, where students learn to sell higher-priced products with higher profit margins.

With 12 modules and 83 lessons, the course covers quite a bit. You have niche selection, market research, Shopify dropshipping store setup, paid and free traffic strategies, basic SEO, and more.

What This Course Promises

The course manages to sell itself quite well with all the promises it makes.

One of their baits has to be the ironclad guarantee where they promise to give your money back and an extra 100 dollars if you don’t have what you wanted, that is a store set up. It’s their confidence that makes you want to sign up.

The course promises a step-by-step blueprint, personalized site audit, supportive community, and access to exclusive bonuses for aspiring Australian dropshippers.

Contents Offered In Dropshipping Downunder 2.0

Here’s what you get in each of the 12 modules of the course:

Module 1: Setting Up An Australian Business

The module provides detailed guidance on how to legally set up a dropshipping business in Australia, including obtaining an ABN (Australian Business Number) and registering the business name.

This information is essential for Australian entrepreneurs to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

I have my reservations though. For anyone outside Australia, it might feel geographically irrelevant. And that’s what I ended up concluding.

The content is tailored specifically to the Australian market, which limits its applicability to a broader international audience.

Module 2: Australian Niche Selection

This one is all about selecting a profitable niche for your dropshipping store in the Australian market.

It emphasizes the importance of selling high-ticket products, understanding price points, building brand loyalty, and identifying ideal target markets.

It does help students make informed decisions when choosing a niche to maximize their chances of success.

The big problem with this module is similar to the first. It’s limited to what Australia has for niche selection.

Module 3: Australian Market Research

This module offers a comprehensive and tailored approach to conducting market research specifically for the Australian market.

This module did teach me techniques and strategies to assess niche competition, determine market viability, and identify potential profitability.

The focus on using  Amazon, eBay, and Google Trends, all from an Australian perspective and performing keyword research can give local entrepreneurs an edge in their market research efforts.

As the course is mainly designed for an Australian audience, the content may have limited relevance to international students or entrepreneurs looking to explore dropshipping in other countries.

Module 4: Shopify Store Development

This module offers a detailed and practical overview of setting up an eCommerce store using the popular Shopify app platform.

I managed to learn a few pretty important aspects such as selecting and registering a domain, installing themes, and creating product collections.

You could learn about adding essential pages, setting up store menus, and using apps to enhance the store’s functionality.

I loved the step-by-step guidance, to be honest. They broke it all down into how optimizing the store layout and utilizing custom emails can be beneficial for beginners.

The focus is on Shopify, you’d want to remember that.

Module 5: Onboarding Aussie Suppliers.

This module molds you to find and connect with suppliers based in Australia. This helped me quite a bit to source products for my dropshipping store. It covers a lot more.

You get to know where to find suitable suppliers, how to contact them effectively, and how to build strong relationships, even with suppliers who do not currently offer dropshipping services. Now that’s the kind of networking I prefer as a dropshipper.

What I felt is that the information and strategies shared in this module can help students secure reliable and efficient suppliers for their businesses.

For those interested in dropshipping from other regions, the module’s specific focus on Australian suppliers might limit its relevance and utility.

Module 6: Free Traffic / Advertising.

This module introduces cost-effective and creative strategies for obtaining free traffic and potential customers for your dropshipping store.

I liked that they kept beginners in mind when delivering this module. The focus is on using platforms like Facebook Groups, Gumtree, Forums, and Online Auction or Sales sites that can help you if you are on a budget too.

The module’s emphasis on free traffic methods allows students to explore marketing avenues that don’t require them to put in a lot of money.

This module was my favorite for all that I learned. Needless to say, it had the right materials. But I did think that it lacked in-depth training on other channels like paid advertisements.

So if you are looking for a more holistic understanding of advertising methods or internet marketing ways, including paid campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Google, this module’s limited scope could be a drawback for you.

Module 7: Google PLA & Adwords Advertising.

This module introduces students to Google Ads and specifically focuses on Product Listing Ads (PLA) and AdWords advertising. Learning how to utilize Google Ads is important. That’s how you learn to drive targeted traffic to the dropshipping store.

You get to know how to set up Google Ads accounts, identify the right keywords for campaigns, and create effective ads to reach potential customers. Google Ads can be a powerful tool for reaching a broader audience, and this module equips students with the basics to get started.

While the module covers Google PLA and AdWords advertising, it does not get into more advanced strategies or in-depth optimization techniques for Google Ads campaigns. For me, I found it short on content since I was looking to learn more about Google Ads campaigns.

Module 8: High-Level Facebook Ads.

This module focuses on setting up and running Facebook Ads. You get to learn all about the Facebook Business Manager interface, how to set up ad campaigns from scratch, and installing the Facebook pixel to track conversions.

I did find this module richer in content as it included topics like retargeting audiences, utilizing lookalike audiences, and testing strategies for optimal results.

You’d want to remember that Facebook Ads can be a game-changer for driving targeted traffic, and this module provides just the right subjects to learn from.

However, I was disappointed to know I would not be learning a few more advanced advertisement settings on Facebook like cost cap bidding and asset customization.

Module 9: Influencer & Other Paid Traffic.

This module introduces students to additional marketing strategies, including influencer marketing, which can be a powerful way to leverage someone else’s audience to promote products.

It also covers running ads on platforms like Gumtree and Trading Post, providing cost-effective advertising options.

Unfortunately, the module is limited in content and does not cover a wide range of paid traffic sources beyond Gumtree and Trading Post.

Module 10: Basic Ecommerce Onsite SEO.

SEO is what makes you seen. This module focuses on the importance of onsite SEO for an eCommerce store.

You mostly learn the basic techniques to optimize your store’s content and structure. So when your potential customer searches for a product, your store’s site shows up on the search engine.

The module offers enough for you to know how to improve organic rankings in search engines, which can lead to increased free traffic and potential customers.

However, it only covers the basics of SEO. You hardly learn about long tail keywords, permalinks, backlinks, or cannibalizing focus keywords. There’s a lot to learn about SEO techniques and this module only covers a drop in the ocean.

Module 11: Going Live With Your Store

This module ensures that students are well-prepared to launch their dropshipping store successfully.

It covers the final steps before going live, including conducting a site audit to ensure everything is set up correctly and there are no technical issues. The module helps you avoid potential problems and ensures a smooth store launch.

The module might be relatively short and cover only the essential steps for going live. Anyone seeking more in-depth guidance on post-launch strategies and ongoing store management may need to explore additional resources beyond this module.

Module 12: Moving Forward & Extras

This final module deals with long-term strategies for building and growing a successful dropshipping business.

It covers important topics such as using email marketing to build an audience, creating an authority blog to drive traffic, and the significance of outsourcing tasks to Virtual Assistants.

The module emphasizes the right mindset for success in dropshipping and provides useful resources and tools for students to consider using.

What I Didn’t Like About Dropshipping Down Under 2.0

Here are the drawbacks that made me rate the course down:

  • High Price: The course is relatively expensive compared to other dropshipping courses on the market.
  • Limited Traffic Training: Some students find traffic training to be lacking, with fewer in-depth strategies on advanced traffic generation methods.
  • Country-Specific Focus: The course is designed specifically for Australians, which might limit its applicability to international students or those interested in a global approach to dropshipping.
  • High-Ticket Approach Risks: Selling high-ticket items can lead to higher chargebacks and lower conversion rates, requiring more trust-building with customers.
  • Limited SEO Training: The module on on-site SEO is basic and may not cover more advanced SEO techniques or off-site SEO strategies like link building.

Final Thoughts

Dropship Down Under 2.0 promises realistic guidance to your dropshipping journey.

They’ll teach you how to get started, attract traffic, advertise to the right audience or even select the right niche.

The problem is they do all that with a highly narrow Australian market and customer base in mind.

And it does not come cheap. You won’t find yourself complaining about their money-back guarantee, nor the lessons that the modules include.

To be precise, you might still be underconfident at the end of the course.

Save Your Precious Time & Money (Use The Rest On Ads!)

I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is NOT an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d NOT trust these courses.

I have reviewed over 50+ dropshipping and eCommerce courses on my blog and by far the BEST course I recommend for any beginner or intermediate dropshipper is eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett. Now, the reason why I love this course is that it’s one of the most affordable dropshipping courses out there and it has literally over 150+ videos. Franklin’s been doing dropshipping for many many years even before it was made famous by a lot of the gurus.

Now if you are still wondering whether you should try it out or not, you should read my eCom Elites Review to make an informed decision on whether or not you should get it or not.
