Dropship Profit Secrets Review – Kevin Vang Course

Today I am looking at Kevin Vang’s latest dropshipping course titled “Dropship Profit Secrets”. I have to mention right away that the course primarily deals with advertising your store on Google Ads and barely has any information on any other topic, which in itself is not a bad thing. Still, Kevin should have probably made that clearer when choosing the title for his course. If you are already familiar with Google Ads, this course is not for you.

The course claims to teach you how to gain financial independence by generating a full-time income through the means of dropshipping. Kevin wants to help you find the perfect product, supplier, and advertising strategy. But just by looking at his YouTube channel, it becomes evident that the course is aimed at beginners. The topics are essential stuff that you should know about, but if you have ever dealt with e-commerce and advertising on Google, it is highly unlikely that you will gain any value from this course.

I reviewed over 50+ courses & found the #1 dropshipping course.
(Best part is that it’s super affordable with a ton of student results!)

Why Listen To My Opinion? What Makes Me An Expert

Hey I’m Joshua. I have been full time entrepreneur since 2019. When I first started dropshipping, I tried MANY different dropshipping courses.

Many of them had similar information to what you can find on youtube. I ended up wasting not just my time but, my money. (Not just course cost but, ad spend.)

Since then, it has been my mission to review these courses to ensure that this doesn’t happen to you. I have devoted over 400+ hours thoroughly researching various ecommerce courses!

What is Dropship Profit Secrets?

Dropship Profit Secrets Author Kevin Vang

Dropship Profit Secrets is an e-commerce course aimed at teaching you the best product and Google Ads strategy. While it does include some product research and supplier acquisition tips, it is primarily a Google Ads course. It covers topics such as choosing a winning product, increasing your conversion rates, and maximizing your budget.

Who is Kevin Vang?

Kevin Vang is a YouTube, blogger, and self-proclaimed “entrepreneur.” He started uploading videos in 2018 and has accumulated about 3000 subscribers since then. Most of his videos only get around a few hundred views, which is kind of weird for someone that is trying to sell you an online marketing course. Should Kevin not know better? On top of that, he has not uploaded a video to his channel in almost eight months.

Who is Dropship Profit Secrets For?

Dropship Profit Secrets is very obviously aimed at beginners in the world of e-commerce. It is a concise course that primarily only deals with the topic of Google Ads, which, while important, is a tiny fraction of what you need to know to succeed in the online sphere.

That being said, if you are looking for a course that gives you a step-by-step rundown on how to set up your own Google Ads account and structure your campaigns, you have probably come to the right place. What irks me a bit is the price tag of $497. While there are certainly more expensive dropshipping courses out there, most of Dropship Profit Secrets’ content can be found for free on the internet. Maybe Kevin should try dropping the price a bit.

What is included in Dropship Profit Secrets?

As mentioned, Kevin’s course is divided into six chapters. Most of them deal with marketing your store on Google Ads. Besides that, there is hardly any mention of other available marketing channels like Instagram or Facebook. Let us take a look at what precisely the course includes.

Chapter 1

The first chapter deals with setting up your 1 product store. While most dropshipping courses will go into the difference between one and multi-product stores, Kevin exclusively deals with 1 product stores.

The content of this chapter is relatively basic and handles topics such as structuring your product page and determining the right pricing strategy. He also briefly talks about reviews and how necessary social proof is.

Chapter 2

Chapter 2 is all about the product itself. Kevin introduces you to different methods of competitor analysis. The goal, of course, is to find a winning product. For this, he teaches you how to spy on successful Facebook pages and even other dropshipping stores. The last video in this chapter also deals with finding the right supplier.

Chapter 3

This chapter is all about Google Ads, Google’s pay-per-click marketing channel. Kevin does not mention SEO or other free traffic sources and instead decided to focus entirely on the paid channel.

You will get an introduction to Google Trends and keyword research. Kevin also shows you how to set up converting campaigns and briefly touches on both bid strategies and bid optimization, something that is increasingly being automated by Google itself. Finally, he talks about writing effective text ads and setting negative keywords, all very interesting if you are new to the world of Google Ads.

The information provided in this chapter is quite useful, especially if you are new to Google Ads. It will help you gain an understanding of the platform and its workings. I do wish Kevin had spent a little bit more time on is the keyword quality score, which is one of the most important factors deciding the success of your Google Ads campaigns.

While everything in this chapter is useful, I would have hoped that Kevin had gone a little bit more into detail in some of the topics. There are a lot more strategies and methods out there that can drastically improve your results with Google Ads such as Single Keyword Ad Groups (SKAGs) and geo-targeting. In general, all (and more) of the information in this chapter can be found on YouTube and other online platforms like Adespresso.

Chapter 4

Building onto the previous section, this one mainly deals with scaling your Google ads campaigns. Kevin teaches you about optimizing campaign budgets and increasing your conversion rate. He also gives a brief guide into competitor bidding, essentially “stealing” your competitor’s customers by bidding on their brand names.

Again, the content here is useful, but Kevin could have gone a lot more into detail as most of this information is available for free on the internet.

Chapter 5

Proudly titled “taking over the market,” Kevin shows you how to get past your competitors on Google Ads. He mainly deals with page headlines and optimizing your ad texts.

Quite frankly, this chapter was disappointing. I had hoped for some more insider information from a Google Ads nerd, but Kevin seems just to repeat things that have been mentioned before. I am not sure how this will help anyone take over any kind of market, but Kevin will have his reasons for titling the chapter accordingly.

Chapter 6

The final section of the course deals exclusively with automating your store. It looks at chatbots and other tools you can use to automate your dropshipping store. This chapter feels kind of rushed, and I am not sure what Kevin thought when he included this in his course.

Bonuses

Kevin’s course also includes some extras, which are… quite interesting, to say the least. The first bonus is one that could be quite useful for you, especially if you are a beginner to the world of Google Ads and dropshipping. It is a one-on-one call with Kevin and allows you to discuss your overall strategy and ask questions, which is an excellent opportunity to drill more in-depth on some topics that you might not have understood the first time correctly. According to my experience, the conversation mostly focuses on finding your product and optimizing your Shopify store and Google Ads ad copies.

While I do like this idea, Kevin markets it as a kind of “mentorship,” which is not what it is. Additionally, I have to questions Kevin’s knowledge of the subjects at hand. He is quite young and does not seem able to provide any actual proof of his success with Shopify or Google Ads.

The second bonus is a product research tool that is supposedly worth $997. I am not sure where Kevin is getting that price from, but something tells me he has been ripped off himself. The tool itself, however, is quite useful as it allows you to reverse engineer competitor’s stores and look for the perfect “winning” product.

As to the third bonus, I am not entirely sure what it even is. Kevin named It “Reveal on how to achieve massive success,” but I am struggling even to understand what is going on here. There is no real content provided and all we get is a link that leads to a dead end. Maybe Kevin is still working on releasing this one, but considering that his YouTube channel has been dead for almost a year now, I am struggling to believe we will ever learn how to “achieve massive success”…

Final Thoughts

Most of the information in this course is useful, yes. But, it can also be found for free on other platforms on the internet. Kevin is a charismatic guy, and if you do not mind paying almost $500 to have that free content curated and spoonfed to you, then you can probably gain some value from this course.

If you have already dabbled in the world of Google Ads, this course will not help you in any way. It hardly includes any advanced strategies and is essentially a beginner’s guide to advertising on Google. This is not inherently a bad thing, and I just wish Kevin would make that a little bit brighter on his sales page.

I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.

I have reviewed over 50+ dropshipping and eCommerce courses on my blog and by far the best course I recommend for any beginner or intermediate dropshipper is eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett. Now, the reason why I love this course is that it’s one of the most affordable dropshipping courses out there and it has literally over 150+ videos. Franklin’s been doing dropshipping for many many years even before it was made famous by a lot of the gurus.

Now if you are still wondering whether you should try it out or not, you should read my eCom Elites Review to make an informed decision on whether or not you should get it or not.
