There are many dropshipping courses on the market, and to decide which is the right one for you, this review should help you decide.

Who is Kyle Russel?
Kyle Russel is a self-acclaimed online entrepreneur and site developer, who is now also an affiliate marketer. Oh, Kyle is also big on social media, especially his YouTube channel, which has over 200,000 subscribers. Kyle is pretty famous in the YouTube scene of digital marketing and business development.
Who is Drop Ship Drop Out Academy For?
Drop Ship Drop Out Academy is for anyone who is dreaming of becoming an entrepreneur. I would say it is geared towards beginners. However, you do require some basic knowledge and there are some requirements to sign up. Ultimately, whoever has the motivation and determination to work hard will succeed in the business. If you are not willing to put in hard work, then you will only be wasting your time.
What is included in Drop Ship Drop Out Academy?
With a total of 61 videos constricted into eight modules, Drop Ship Drop Out Academy aims to cover all the steps it takes a beginner from store creation to success. There is a short introduction before module 1 begins, where Kyle gives a general overview of the course structure. He also explains how members can access community links and contact information should you have any questions.
Kyle kicks off module 1 by discussing some things you need to have to proceed with the course. He then goes on to explain the basics of dropshipping, which I think is unnecessary. Surely whoever pays $299 to sign up for a dropshipping course already knows at least a little on what the business is about. He then discusses budgets and what costs you should expect before stressing on the importance of strong mental health to endure the hardships of the business.
Module 2 goes on to discuss a business plan, as the title claims. However, what you get instead is product research guides and using Facebook Audience Insights tool to cross-check them. There is not even a little mention of the business plan, as the title suggests. I am not sure if this is an error, but you should not get this with a paid course.
Here, you will finally get to building your store. Beyond that, you will also learn about the importance of branding, like creating a logo and using good quality product pictures. Then, you will also learn to use Oberlo, a popular tool to import products onto your store.
Next, you will get a guide to setup crucial social media accounts for social media marketing. This section includes installation for Instagram and Facebook before you will learn some growth methods and integrations. Then, the course ends with a brief intro to the next module as it touches on ad testing.
Module 5 is still on the topic of social media marketing. However, I think they might have a mix up in the order of course modules because this looks more like a prerequisite to module 4. Again, not a mistake, you should get if you are paying so much money for a course that is supposed to help you succeed. Module 5 is an introduction to using Facebook and Instagram advertisements and the terminology surrounding the field. You will also learn to set up engagement advertisements on Facebook before learning about comments and ad filtering. Kyle also goes through creating sales copies for ads and troubleshooting Facebook ad problems and coming up with new ad-sets.
In module 6, Kyle goes through factors that make your product viable. He will also teach you some monitoring techniques at different stages to analyze progress. Effective targeting strategies are also discussed with Scaling with Campaign Bidding Optimization while using Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences.
Now that you are getting some constant orders, some new problems might arise. Kyle discusses them, and it includes things to do when an item is out of stock, using Oberlo to automate orders, how to deal with high-risk orders, leveraging on cashback, and tracking finances.
Module 8 touches on free marketing strategies, which is using the Instagram algorithm to boost likes and ways to get fake followers.
Kyle promotes his affiliate program here, which was a shock to me because I paid so much money for the course to learn about dropshipping, not to join his affiliate program. Also, it would be quite hard to run your business and work as his affiliate at the same time. You should focus on what’s more important first.
Drop Ship Drop Out Course Final Verdict
In conclusion, the Drop Ship Drop Out academy is not what it advertises to be. For a paid course, there are definitely too many tiny mistakes that are hard to ignore. The course material is also not sufficient enough as it does not discuss a variety of marketing strategies.
I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is not an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d not trust these courses.
I have reviewed over 50+ dropshipping and eCommerce courses on my blog and by far the best course I recommend for any beginner or intermediate dropshipper is eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett. Now, the reason why I love this course is that it’s one of the most affordable dropshipping courses out there and it has literally over 150+ videos. Franklin’s been doing dropshipping for many many years even before it was made famous by a lot of the gurus.
Now if you are still wondering whether you should try it out or not, you should read my eCom Elites Review to make an informed decision on whether or not you should get it or not.
