Automated Dropshipping Mastery is a course that claims to help people start off dropshipping with minimal to zero start-up costs. I find this quite ironic as the course itself is priced phenomenally high. The course is a whopping $1,497, and this is not including your monthly Shopify subscriptions and other additional tools you might want to download.
Who is Carl Parnell?
Carl Parnell has many titles to his name, as he did not come from a digital marketing background. Before this, he was a bass player and a holistic health coach. Today, he is a self-acclaimed online entrepreneur and social media marketer. He is now also an eCommerce course instructor, as he has created this Automated Dropshipping Mastery course. He is active on his various social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. To learn about his businesses, most of the information I could find was only what he chooses to display on his social media. Therefore, there is no way of knowing his real successes.
Who is Automated Dropshipping Mastery For?
If you have dreams of becoming an entrepreneur but are stuck for ideas, then this course is for you. Not only will you learn about starting an eCommerce business, but it will also open your mind to a whole list of opportunities. This course also boasts of helping beginners start their business with minimal to zero upfront course. Going through the course, I find this to be untruthful, as you might have to pay for some apps if you want to use them. So, it is good to keep that in mind.
What is included in Automated Dropshipping Mastery?
This course has seven modules that can help you go towards dropshipping success.
Topic 1 – Selecting A Niche
There are many competitive niches in the market, and deciding which one you should delve into is crucial for the success of your business. Here, you will learn how to select your niche and build a business surrounding this idea. This is essentially your crucial first step into the market.
Topic 2 – Product Research
Now that you have a general idea of what niche you want to invest in, its time to search for products. You will learn about researching information on products that you want to sell. This section includes looking for places to source products and setting product prices.
Topic 3 – Build Your Store
So, you have a niche and products, then its time to build your store. Provided in this course are templates that you can use as a guide to building a store from scratch.
Topic 4 – Install Recommended Apps
Installing apps is vital if you are not using a premium Shopify theme. I find this quite contradictory as this course is supposed to help people to spend minimal to 0 upfront costs. If you are going to install a bunch of apps, surely you will have to pay for some of them.
Topic 5 – Instagram
Instagram marketing is the only marketing strategy offered in this course. You will learn how to set up your account, and attract followers but creating useful content. This will help you generate traffic. Instagram marketing is a powerful and cost-effective option. However, it will take some time to build your following.
Topic 6 – Setting Up Automated Processes
Although the name suggests some ideas for automating your store, this module is essentially just scrips for managing an Instagram account. You get custom templates that you can use for Instagram Marketing. There is nothing here about automating your store.
Topic 7 – Fulfilling Orders
Only at the last module, you will learn to automate orders. I guess you should only worry about this when your orders get out of hand, which means your store is doing well. Here is also where you get invited to join the private Facebook group.
Automated Dropshipping Mastery Final Verdict
This course is perfect for beginners as it contains the basics of starting a dropshipping business. But, is it worth the phenomenally high price? No way! The course is priced too high, and for a course that claims to help people start their business with minimal to zero costs, there is some contradiction here.
Moreover, the course materials are not worth the price! The course focuses only on using Instagram Marketing to drive traffic. If you are paying such a high price, I think it is only fair you get to learn more varieties to help yourself in the future.
I have gone through a lot of these dropshipping guru courses and personally, a lot of them are overpriced courses with very little information. They always try to sell you the dream or the lifestyle rather than actually selling you information. Dropshipping is NOT an overnight get-rich-quick scheme but, a lot of these gurus make it out like that. That’s why they ask for ridiculous prices for their courses. So, I personally get why you’d NOT trust these courses.
