After having built a handful of highly successful dropshipping companies, we decided to create this blog to share with you everything we’ve learned in our journey. Much like starting an offline business, starting an online store comes with its own set of challenges that you need to overcome.
We’ve had our ups, downs, successes, failures, and made plenty of mistakes along the way. That’s one of the reasons why we created this blog, to help you avoid some of the rather expensive and painful pitfalls of building a successful dropshipping business.
How it all Started
I can vividly remember the first time I learned about building a successful ecommerce business with dropshipping. At the time, I was into affiliate marketing and had my fair share of successes, but I just couldn’t break free from my 9-5 job just yet.
You know how it goes, there’s always an algorithm update looming which had the power to take you from hero to zero in three seconds flat.
Because of this, I knew I had to find an alternative business model, a business that wasn’t going to be influenced by search engine changes, something like dropshipping. I tried a variety of online courses but I found the best one and one that provided the most value was Ecom Elites, learned the ropes of dropshipping with Shopify, and once I felt ready, I launched my first dropshipping store.
Suffice to say, it wasn’t the huge success I was hoping for, but it was necessary because the experience and feedback I got from it helped me build my first successful dropshipping store.
I went back to the drawing board, invested in some of the best Shopify courses, the best Shopify themes for single products as well as some of the best tools such as Oberlo, Alidropship, and Dropified.
Fast forward several months later, and I had built a chain of successful dropshipping stores that made me enough money to quit my day job and live the dot com lifestyle. It was now time for me to give back, and that’s when I decided to start this blog to share with my readership everything I’ve learned thus far.
